A bus starting from rest moves with uniform acceleration of 0.1 metre per second square for 2 minutes find the speed required and distance travelled

Here is your answer.

Given,

u=0

a=0.1m/s²

t=2 mins = 120 s


We know, v=u+at

Therefore,

velocity = 0+0.1 × 120

= 12 m/s


Now,

Distance travelled=ut+ ½ at²

=0+ ½ ×0.1×120×120

=720 m
