Given:-

Initial velocity ,u = 0m/s

Final velocity ,v = 36km/h

Time taken ,t = 10min

To Find :-

Acceleration ,a

Solution :-

We have to calculate the acceleration of the bus .

As we know that acceleration is defined as the rate of change in velocity .

Conversion of unit

➻ v = 36×5/18

➻ v = 2×5

➻ v = 10m/s

And,

➻ t = 10×60

➻ t = 600s

Now, calculating the acceleration .

Using Formula

a = v-u/t

substitute the value we get

➻ a = 10-0/600

➻ a = 10/600

➻ a = 1/60

➻ a = 0.0166 ≈ 0.017 m/s²

Hence, the acceleration of the bus will be 0.017 m/s².

So, the required option is (b) 0.017m/s².
