Answer:

The bus will take 1 hour 20 minutes

Step-by-step explanation:

The bus takes 48 minutes to cover the distance at a speed of 50 km per hour.

60 minutes = 1 hour

=> 48 minutes = (48/60) hours

                         = 0.8 hours

Speed = 50 km per hour

Time = 0.8 hours

Distance = Speed x Time

               = 50 * 0.8

               = 40 km

The distance is 40 km

If the bus is travelling at 30 km per hour, we need to find time.

Speed = 30 km per hour

Distance = 40 km

Time = Distance / Speed

         = 40/30

         = 1.33 hours

         = 1\frac{1}{3} hours

          = 1 hour 20 minutes

The bus will need 1 hour 20 minutes to complete the same distance @30km/hour
