A bus takes 8 hours to reach Indore from Delhi. If it moves with a speed of
60km/hr for 5 hours and with a speed of 40km/hr for the remaining hours,
calculate the average speed of the bus

Answer:

Total distance = 60×5 + 40×3 = 300+120= 420km

Avg speed = Total distance / Total time = 420/8 = 52.5km/hr
