Equation

v = u + at

36 km /h = 36*1000 /( 60*60) = 10 m/s

54 km /h = 56*1000/(60*60) = 15 m/s

substitute

15 m/s = 10 m/s + a* 5 s

a*5s = 5m/s

a = 5m/s / 5 s

a = 1 m/s²
