Time taken in the first part of journey = t1 = 120/49= 2.45 hrs approx.

Time taken in the second part of journey = t1 = 120/30= 4 hrs approx.

=>total time=6.45 hrs, and

=>total distance=240km

=>avg.speed=240/6.45=37.21km/hr

Vikrant9: thanks alot
RishabhSood: finally we calculated the total distance by summing the return and the going journey
