A bus travels at v km per hour. It is going from daspur to beespur. After the bus has travelled 5 hours, Beespur is still 20 km away. What is the distance from daspur to beespur? Express it using v.
If v= 20 km/ h then find distance.

Step-by-step explanation:

Here, V (Speed) = 20 km/h (given)

Time taken (t) = 5 hours (given)

As we know that,

Distance (D) = Speed (V) × Time taken (t)

= (20 × 5) km

= 100 km

So, Distance travelled in 5 hours by the bus = 100 km

But still it is 20 km away from Beespur.

So, the Distance rest uncovered by the bus = 20 km

Therefore, Total Distance from Daspur to Beespur = 100 km + 20 km

= 120 km

Hope it helps :)

Speed of the bus = v km per hour

Distance travel by the bus in 5 hours = 5v km

According to question,

Distance from Daspur to Beespur

= Distance travelled by bus in 5 hours + 20km

= 5v km + 20 km = (5v + 20) km
