A) Bus X travels a distance of 360 km in 5 hours. Bus Y travels a distance of 478 km in 7 hours. Which bus travels faster?

b) A car travels 100km at a speed of 60km/hour and return with a speed of 40km/hour. Calculate the average speed of the whole journey.

c) The direction in which an object moves is given by the direction of velocity and not by the direction of acceleration. Give an example to justify this statement.

d) Draw the velocity time graph for a body that has some initial velocity and is moving with uniform acceleration. Use it to derive velocity time relation.

e) If the displacement is proportional to the square of the time elapsed what type of motion does the body possess?

A). the X bus moves faster than Y, because X moves with speed of 72kmh-¹(360/5) while Y moves with 68.28(478/7).

B). the average speed of this determined by
V(Ave) = 2×V1×V2/V1+V2
V=2×60×40/100
V= 4800/100
V= 48ms-¹

E) body possess rectilinear motion or motion in straight line..

C. this because the acceleration produce when velocity changes in magnitude or direct ion...

l hope it will help you..
