Solution :-

Given : Actual cost price of house = 1 lakh

Businessman sold it for 2 lakh

Businessman gets profit = (2 - 1) lakh

= 1 lakh

He once again bought the same house for 3 lakh

Businessman gets loss = (3 - 2) lakh

= 1 lakh

Now,

He sold it for 4 lakh

Businessman gets profit = (4 - 3) lakh

= 1 lakh

His total profit = {(1 + 1) - 1} lakh

= 1 lakh

Hence,

His total profit = 1 lakh

HELLO GUYS

QUESTIONS :-

A Businessman bought a house for 1 Lakh and sold it for 2 Lakh. He once again bought the same house for 3 lakh and sold it for 4 Lakh. What is his total profit?

ANSWER :-⤵⤵⤵⤵⤵⤵⤵⤵

Answer – B (loss of Rs. 1/12 lakh)

Explanation – Total S.P = Rs. 2 lakh.

C.P of house = Rs. (100/80 x 1)lakh = Rs 5/4 lakh

C.P of shop = Rs. (100/120 x 1)lakh = Rs. 5/6 lakh

Total C.P = Rs. (5/4 + 5/6)lakh = Rs. 25/12 lakh

∴ loss = Rs.(25/12 – 2)lakh = Rs. 1 lakh.
