work done by car=f×s=20000×120
=2400000J

Given that,

 W=mg = 20000N
So, m =W/g= 2000 kg
as g = 10m/s^2
t =100s
h = 120m

(a) Work done by the car,
      W = Increased energy of the car
           = mgh = 20000 x 120 =2.4x 10^6 Joule

(b) Power of engine P = W/t
                                    = 2.4 x 10^6 / (100s) = 2.4 x 10^4 Watt
