so
first we will find the fraction of weight of nuts and plums in cake ie;

fraction of weight of nuts and plums in cake= 1-(2/7+1/8+3/14)

ie; 1-{(2×8+1×7+3×4)}=1-35/56

so the weight of nuts and plum = 2×(1-35/56)=0.75 kg ANSWER
