Answer

Explanation

(a)

  • Concept- Moles of CH3COOH = given mass of CH3COOH/ Molecular mass of CH3COOH
  • Molecules of CH3COOH= no. of moles x Avogadro number.

Given- Given mass of CH3COOH = 120g

Avogadro mum - 6.022x10^23

Find- number of moles of CH3COOH and no. of molecules

Step by step explanation

  1. Moles of CH3COOH = given mass of CH3COOH/ Molecular mass of CH3COOH
  • Moles of CH3COOH=120/80=1.5 moles

2) Molecules of CH3COOH= no. of moles x Avogadro number.

Molecules of CH3COOH=1.5 x 6.022x10^23

Molecules of CH3COOH= 9.033 x10^23 molecules of CH3COOH

(b) 1) Ca3(PO4)2 is the chemical formula of calcium phosphate

2)Al2(SO4)3 is the chemical formula of aluminium sulphate

3) Na2CO3 is the chemical formula of sodium phosphate
