Percent composition of magnesium sulphate is as follows -

  • Percentage composition can be calculated by formula : mass of element/molar mass*100
  • As per the fact, Mass of Magnesium is 24 gram/mole, mass of sulfur is 32 gram/mole, mass of oxygen is 16 gram/mole and mass of magnesium sulphate is 120 gram/mole
  • Percentage composition of magnesium - 24/120*100
  • Percentage composition of magnesium - 20%
  • Percentage composition of sulfur - 32/120*100
  • Percentage composition of sulfur - 26.6%
  • Percentage composition of oxygen - 16/120*100
  • Percentage composition of oxygen - 13.3%
