Answer:

given =  copper atomic weight = 63.5

              valency = 2

to find =    1.1faraday

                2. ECE

solution=

1 faraday = change incoloumbs of 1 mole of electrons ,

so we can write

1 faraday = 6.022 x 10⁻²³ x  1.602 x 10⁻¹⁹(avagadros numberx no of e⁻)

1 faraday= 9.647244mol⁻

1 faraday≅96485mol⁻

1 faraday≅96500cm⁻

now for Calculate ece of Cu

chemical equvivalent= atomic mass / valency

so,                               = 63.5 / 2

                                   = 31.75g

unit of ECE is gram per columb

so, gram equivalent of Cu = 107.9g
