Answer:

1/10

Step-by-step explanation:

time taken by A = 3/5

=0.6

time taken by B = 7/10

=0.7

so, we can see that B has taken more time

then, 7/10 - 3/5

= 7-6/10

= 1/10

therefore , B worked longer than A by 1/10 of time.

hope it helps :)

Answer:

a \: completed \: job \: in \: \frac{3}{5} \: hours \\ \\ b \: completed \: job \: in \: \frac{7}{10} \: hour

In order to know who, worked longer,

\frac{3}{5} \: and \: \frac{7}{10} \: have \: to \: be \: compared.

By cross multiplication, we have 3×10 = 30 and 5×7 =35

But 30 < 35

\frac{3}{5} < \frac{7}{10} \: or \: \frac{7}{10} > \frac{3}{5}

Thus B worked longer.

Difference between 7/10 and 3/5 =

\frac{7}{10} \: - \frac{3}{5} = \frac{(7 \times 1) - (3 \times 2)}{10} = \frac{1}{10}

HENCE 'B' WORKED LONGER AND HE TOOK 1/10 HOUR MORE THAN 'A'.

HOPE IT HELPS YOU
