b=a+50%ofa=150a/100=3/2a
a×12=(a+b)x
12A=(A+3/2A)x
12A=5A/2x
x=24/5=4.8 days..

12 days

EXPLANATION

..........

TOTAL WORK = 18 Chocolates

B is 50% efficient than A. So, B eats 1.5 chocolates per day.

So, time taken by B = [18 / 1.5 ]

 = 12 days
