||✪✪ GIVEN ✪✪||

  • A can do a piece of work in 60 days.
  • B can do in 40 days.
  • A left 10 days before the completion of the work ...

|| ✰✰ ANSWER ✰✰ ||

→ LCM of 60 and 40 = 120 units = Let Total work.

So,

A per day work = (120/60) = 2 units.

B per day work = (120/40) = 3 units.

Now, Given That, A left 10 days before The completion of the work.

That Means in Last 10 days only B alone completed the rest work.

in Last 10 days be Did = 3*10 = 30 units of work.

__________

Left work = 120 - 30 = 90 units .

So, we can say That, This work was done by now A + B both ..

So, They will take = 90/(2+3) = 18 days.

Hence, Total Number of days to complete the work = 18 +10 = 28 days. (Ans).
