Hey Friend ☺
A can do a work in 60 days
So he works 1/60 part of work in one day
He worked for 15 days
So work done = 15 × 1/60
=1/4
Remaining work = 1 - 1/4
= 3/4
B completes the remaining work in 30 days
Let the days taken to complete whole work be x
So .
3/4 × x = 30
3x/4 = 30
x = 30 × 4/3
x = 40
So B can complete the work in 40 days
So B can do 1/40 part of work in one day
A & B can do the work in = 1/40 + 1/60
= 6 + 4/240
=10/240
= 1/24
So A & B can do the whole work in 24 days
Hope it helps you ..!!
