Working capacity of B = A + 50% of A

= 1 + ½ of A

= 3/2 of A

Time taken by A to complete the job = 9 days

Time taken by B to complete the job = time taken by 3/2 of A to complete the job ( proved above)

=> A = 9 days

=> 3/2 of A = 9 days * 2/3

=> 3/2 of A = 6 days

=> B = 6 days

Ans. = The time taken by B to complete the job is 6 days.

Hope it helps!!!!
