Answer:

A will receive Rs.341.70

B will receive Rs.284.74

C will receive Rs.213.56

Step-by-step explanation:

A can do a task in 5 days

∴ Each day, A can complete \frac{1}{5} part of the task.

B can do a task in 6 days

∴ Each day, B can complete \frac{1}{6} part of the task.

C can do a task in 8 days

∴ Each day, C can complete \frac{1}{8} part of the task.

When they work together,

Each day they can complete (\frac{1}{5} + \frac{1}{6} + \frac{1}{8})  = \frac{24 + 20 + 15}{120} = \frac{59}{120} part of the task

A, B and C's contributions are in the ratio 24:20:15

∴ A contribute \frac{24}{59} part.  So, he should receive \frac{24}{59} of Rs.840 = Rs.341.70

∴ B contribute \frac{20}{59} part.  So, he should receive \frac{20}{59} of Rs.840 = Rs.284.74

∴ C contribute \frac{15}{59} part.  So, he should receive \frac{15}{59} of Rs.840 = Rs.213.56
