The correct answer for this question is Option A. rs. 120

Answer:

Given : A can do a work in 6 days and b can do the same work in 5 days. The contract for the work is 220 rs.

To find : How much shall b get if both of them work together?

Solution :

A can do a work in 6 days.

A's 1 day work is 1/6

B can do a work in 5 days.

B's 1 day work is 1/5

Ratio of their wages = 1/6:1/5

Ratio of their wages = 6:5

The contract for the work is Rs.220.

So, The B share is

B= 220/5+6 x 6

B = 220/11 x 6

B = 20 x 6

B = 120

Therefore, B shall get Rs. 120.
