A can finish the work in 15 days

1 day = 1/15 of the work

B can finish the work in 10 days

1 day = 1/10 of the work

If they work together

1 day = 1/15 + 1/10 = 1/6 of the work

2 days = 1/6 x 2 = 1/3

Find the work remaining after 2 days:

Work remaining = 1 - 1/3 = 2/3 of the work

Find the days needed for A to finish the remaining work:

Days needed = 2/3 ÷ 1/15 = 10 days

Answer: A will need 10 days to finish the remaining work
