Work A can do alone = 18 days

Work B can do alone = half of A

= 9 days

(A + B ) 's 1 day work

= 1 / 18 + 1 / 9

= 1 / 18 + 2 / 18

= 1 / 6

In 3 day = 3 * 1 / 6

= 1 / 2 work is completed
