A can row a certain distance downstream in 8h and return the same distance in 10hrs. Uf the stream flows at the rate of 4 km/hr then what is the speed of the can in still water?

A) 12 km/hr

Description for Correct answer:

(v1+v2)t1=(v1−v2)t2

Therefore, (v1+2)×8=(v1−2)×10

v1=12km/hr
