first candidate got = 47500 votes

2nd candidate got

= 47500 + 5000 = 52500 votes

total valid votes

= 47500 + 52500 = 10,0000

winning candidate got = 52,500 votes

% of votes obtained by winning Candidate

= 52500 ×100/10,0000

= 52.5 %

Answer: 52.5%
