Solution:

Given, the winning candidate gets 56500 votes.

Then, the defeated candidate gets

= 56500 - 3000 [ ATQ ]

= 53500

∴ total number of votes

= 56500 + 53500

= 110000

Hence, the percentage of votes obtained by the defeated candidate

= (votes obtained)/(total votes) × 100 %

= (53500/110000) × 100 %

= 535/11 %

= 48 (7/11) %

Answer:

plzz....mark me as brainlist...

Step-by-step explanation:

Here, the winning candiates get =56500 votes.

Then, the defeated candidate get=56500-3000

=53500

therefore, total no of votes=56500+53500

=110000.

hence, the % of vote obtained by the defeated candidate =( 53500/110000)×100

= 535/11

=48.63%
