Votes of winning candidate=56500
Votes of losing candidate=56500-3000
=53500(As winner won by a margin of 3000 which means that by 3000 more votes than the loser)

Total votes=56500+53500=110000

Percentage= required quantity÷total quantity ×100%
=
48 \frac{63}{99}\%

HarshVardhan12345: see my ans
YashikaKukreja: it's incorrect
HarshVardhan12345: then what is correct
YashikaKukreja: it's incorrect we will not subtract 3000 from the votes of the winning candidate
YashikaKukreja: and the total no of votes polled are 59500
HarshVardhan12345: winner is ahead by 3000 votes
