From the given data,

(30T/100) = M - 5 ………(1)

(40T/100) = M + 10 …….(2)

From (2) we get,

M = (40T/100) - 10 …..(3)

Now, put (3) in (1)

(30T/100) = M - 5

(30T/100) = [(40T/100) - 10] - 5

=> (30T/100) = (40T/100) - 15

=> (30T/100) = ([40T - 1500]/100)

=> 30T = 40T - 1500

=> 10T = 1500

=> T = 150

Now, Put T = 150 in (1) or (2)

We get M = 45 + 5 = 50

The minimum marks required to pass = M = 50.
I hope it helps you
