Given,

The distance of the candle from the plane mirror is 15 centimetres.

To find,

The distance between the candle and it's image.

Solution,

In case of the image formed by a plane mirror,

The distance between object and mirror surface. = The distance between mirror surface and the image.

So,

Distance between object and it's image = 2× The distance between object and mirror.

By applying the above formula,we get that,

Distance between candle and it's image

= 15×2 = 30 centimetres

Hence, the distance between the candle and it's image is 30 centimetres.
