A capacitor is made by two parallel plates with area of each being A and distances between them as d. This is placed in an electrolyte with resistivity ⍴ and constant horizontal velocity v. The entire system is placed in a uniform magnetic field of induction β at 30o angle from the plate. The material between the places has an external resistance of R.

1. Calculate the amount of power generated in that resistance?
2. If the velocity of the electrolyte is doubled, at what value of R will the power be the highest?
3. At its highest power, the current flowing through the electrolyte is 5A. Calculate the potential difference at this point.
4. Removing the electrolyte, what type of capacitor is this?
