A car accelarates uniformly from 18 km/hr to 36 km/hr in 5 s. Calculate a. the accelaration and b. the distance covered by the car in that time.​

v=36km/hr=10m/s

u=18km/hr=5m/s

t=5s

Use v=u+at

10=5+a*5

a=1m/s^{2}

Then use s=ut+1/2at^2

s=5*5+1/2*1*5*5

s=25+12.5

s=37.5m
