Given :

Initial velocity ( u ) = 4 m/s

Final velocity ( v ) = 16 m/s

Time ( t ) = 4 s

We know that :

Acceleration = ( v - u ) / t

                     = ( 16 m/s - 4 m/s ) / 4 s

                     = 12 m/s / 4 s

                     = 3 m/s²

The acceleration of the body is 3 m/s²

Hope it helps !

Given:

The initial velocity (u) = 4m/s

The final velocity (v)  = 16m/s

The time taken (t) = 4s

To find:

The acceleration of the car

Solution:

a = v - u/t

a = (16 - 4)/4

a = 12/4

a = 3 m/s²

Hence, the acceleration of the car is 3 m/s².
