Now acceleration = (v-u)/t

=(8m/s-0m/s)/4s

=8m/s /4s

=2m/s^2

Now total distance covered =ut +1/2at^2

=0m/s×4s + 1/2 ×2m/s^2 ×4s^2

=0+1m/s^2×4s^2

=4m
