A car accelerates uniformly from 18 km h⁻¹ to 36 km h⁻¹ in 5 s. Calculate (i) the acceleration and (ii) the distance covered by the car in that time.

convert kilometre/second into metre/second

= 5m/s and 10m/s

I) acceleration= 10-5/5= 1m/s²

ii) Distance= speed× time

= 10m/s× 5s

= 50km
