final velocity v=36km/h=10m/s
initial velocity u=18km/h=5m/s
time t=5s
using Newton law of motion
v=u+at
18=5+5a
5a=13
a=13/5
a=2.6m/s²
And then,
v²-u²=2aS
S=v²-u²/2a
S=(10²)-(5²)/2x2.6
S=100-25/5.2
S=75/5.2
S=750/52
S=14.43m (approx)
