A car acquire a velocity of 72 km/hr in 10 sec starting from rest (a) find the acceleration (b) average velocity (c) the distance travel .

Given v= 72 km/hr or 20 m/s
u= 0
time= 10 sec
Acceleration= v^(2) - u^(2)=2as
= v^(2) - u^(2)/ 2s = a
= 20*20 - 0 / 2*10 = a
= 400 / 20
=20m/s
Avg. velocity= v + u / 2
= 20 + 0 / 2
= 10m/s
displacement = v * t
= 20 * 10
= 200m
