From question,

Distance between them= 510km

Time taken= 3h

Speed of car= 90km/h

Let speed of bus= x

As they are travelling towards each other, relative speed= 90+x

We know,

Speed= distance/ time

90+x= 510/3

X+90= 170

x= 80km/h

Therefore, speed of the bus is 80km/h

Solution :-

Given : A car and a bus are travelling towards each other.

They are 510 km apart at 13:20 and they pass each other at 16:20.

The car is travelling at a speed of 90 km/h.

Let the speed of bus be x km/h

According to the question,

=> Speed × Time = Distance

=> (90 + x) (16:20 - 13:20) = 510

=> (90 + x) 3 = 510

=> 270 + 3x = 510

=> 3x = 510 - 270

=> 3x = 240

=> x = 240/3 = 80

Hence,

The speed of bus = 80 km/h
