A car consumes 28 liters of petrol for a distance of 2100 km.
(a) How much petrol will be consumed to cover a distance of 3600km.
(b) How much distance will be covered in 7 liters of petrol.

Answer:

b) as given 2100 km for 28litres

for 1 litre it will cover 2100/28 km

then for 7 litre it will cover 2100/28×7 =2100/4= 525 km

similarly for 1km it will consume 28/2100 litre of petrol then for 3600 km it will consume

28/2100×3600 = 48 litres
