distance covered in
40 seconds=850 m
1 hour=60×60=3600 secs
distance covered=850×3600/40
=7600 m

ProBeast513: Bro, no offence but 850×3600/40 is 76500
shloka2011: oh ye....sorry...it was actually mistaken...
viduola: IN MY TEXT BOOK ANS IS 7600
ProBeast513: He he he
ProBeast513: Never always believe in text books, they r made by humans n thus can be wrong:-)
viduola: HMM
ProBeast513: I also made mistake in my ans. Its common but must be avoided:-) :-\

Distance covered on 40sec=850m
Distance covered on 1sec=850m/40=21.25. |By unitary method
Distance covered on 60sec=60×21.25=1275m

So, the ans is 1275m

ProBeast513: Sorry, it was mistyped, enter typed suddenly:-) :-P
ProBeast513: After that multiply 1275 by 60 to get 76500 as the sender exact ans of 76500.
