If the speed of 30 km per hour then the taken time will be 1 hr 15 mins

Given data :

The car covers the total distance in 50 minutes at 45 kilometre per hour speed.

The new speed is 30 kilometre per hour.

So,

In 60 minutes the car covers = 45 km

In 1 minute the car cover = 45/60 km

In 50 minutes the car cover = 45×50/60 = 37.5 km

If the speed is = 30km/h

Then

30 km is covered in = 60 minutes

1 km is covered in = 60/30 minutes

37.5 km is covered in = 60×37.5/30 minutes = 75 minutes = 1 hr 15 mins (answer)
