(a) Distance travelled = 10km
= 10 × 1000 m
= 10 × 1000 × 100cm
= 1000000cm

Time taken = 5 minutes
= 5 × 60
= 300s

speed = {distance travelled}/{time taken}
speed = {1000000}/{300}
= 3333cm/s

(b) Distance travelled = 10km
= 10 × 1000m
= 10000m

Time taken = 5 minutes
= 5× 60
= 300 s

speed = {distance travelled}/{time taken}

speed = {10000}/{300} = 33 m/s
