Answer : Science there is gravitation ,the car will be pulled downward . So there will be acceleration due to gravity and the value of acceleration due to gravity is given as 9.8 N / Kg . here the questioner is trying to fool you. Your teacher might said that the unit for acceleration due to gravity is m/s^2 .Its very simple we know that N=Kg meter / s^2 . So N/Kg is same as m/s^2 .

so, acceleration due to gravity, g = 9.8 N/Kg =9.8 m/s^2 . mass = 1000kg now , we know that force =mass * acceleration

so force =[ 1000 * 9.8 ] N

                                                =9800 N.
