The total area cleaned at each sweep of the  blades is 1254.96 cm²

Step-by-step explanation:

Let radius of the area swept be 'r'

r = Length of the wiper = 25 cm

Let the sweeping angle be θ

θ = 115°

Total area swept by the wiper = 2 × Area swept by one wiper

Total area swept by the wiper = 2 × Area swept by 115°

Total area swept by the wiper = 2 × θ/360 × πr²

On substituting the values, we get,

Total area swept by the wiper = 2 × 115/360 × 22/7 × (25)²

Total area swept by the wiper = 2 × 0.319 × 22/7 × 625

∴ Total area swept by the wiper = 1254.96 cm²
