Solutions :-

Given :
A car in a bus travelling towards each other.
They are 510 km apart at 13:20 and they pass each other at 16:20.
Speed of car = 90 km/hr

Let the speed of bus be x km/hr.

We know that,
Distance = Speed × Time

According to the question,

=> (90 + x) (16:20 - 13:20) = 510
=> (90 + x) 3 = 510
=> 270 + 3x = 510
=> 3x = 510 - 270
=> 3x = 240
=> x = 240/3 = 80

Hence,
Speed of bus = 80 km/hr

Hello!

Here is your answer:

===================

Answer = 80km/hr

===================

Solution:

------------------------

Given,

Distance between both : 510km

ratio: 13:20 -pass each other at 16:20.

Speed of car = 90 km/hr

=============================

Let the speed of bus be y km/hr.

We know formula of distance,

Distance = Speed × Time

According to the question,

=> (90 + y) (16:20 - 13:20) = 510

=> (90 + y) 3 = 510

=> 270 + 3y = 510

=> 3y = 510 - 270

=> 3y = 240

=> y = 240/3

                            y => 80

========================

Therefore,

Speed of bus = 80 km/hr
