Answer:

Explanation:

Given,

Initial Velocity(u) = 30km/hr

=30\times \dfrac{5}{18}m/s

=\dfrac{150}{18}m/s

= 8.33 m/s

Final Velocity(v) = 70 km/hr

=70\times \dfrac{5}{18}m/s

=\dfrac{350}{18}m/s

= 19.44 m/s

time (t) = 10s

To Find :-

Average Speed.

Formula Used :-

Average Speed=\dfrac{u+v}{2}

Solution :-

Average speed =

=\dfrac{30+70}{2}km/hr

=\dfrac{100}{2}km/hr

Average speed = 50 km/hr

(or)

Average speed =

=\dfrac{8.33+19.44}{2}m/s

=\dfrac{27.77}{2}m/s

= 13.885 m/s

Average Speed = 13.885 m/s

Know More :-

1)S=\dfrac{d}{t}

  • s = speed
  • d = distance
  • t = time

2)a=\dfrac{v-u}{t}

  • v = final Velocity
  • a = acceleration
  • u = initial velocity
  • t = time
