Answer :-

Kinetic Energy = 1/2 m v² ..... (1)

where m = mass , v = velocity

m = 600 kg .... (2)

v = 12 m/s ... (3)

Substituting (2) and (3) in (1), we get

Kinetic Energy = 1/2 x 600 x 12 x 12 = 43200 Joules

Kinetic Energy of car is 43200J.

From the formula below:

Kinetic energy = 1/2mv²

The energy is in joules.

Where :

M = mass in Kilograms

v = Velocity in meters per second

In our case :

Mass = 600 kgs

v = 12 m/s

We do the substitution using the values  as follows :

Kinetic energy = 1/2 × 600 × 12²

= 300 × 144 = 43200

= 43200 Joules
