Answer:

hi

here you go

Assuming it starts at 72 kmph and hits a dead stop:

Divide 72 by 60 for distance per minute.

So, 1.2km per minute.

1.2km is 1200m and 4 seconds is one fifteenth of a minute.

So we want to solve 1200/15.

It is 80.

80 metres.

Given :-

  • Velocity of car ( initial velocity 'u') = 72 km /h
  • Time = 4 seconds
  • Final velocity ( v ) = 0 m/s

To find :- Distance of car how far it move.

Conversion:-

Velocity of car ( u) (=72 × 5 / 18

= 20 m/s

SolutioN:-

By using first equation of motion

★ v = u + at

In which,v = final velocity

u = initial velocity

a = acceleration

t = time.

➟ 0 = 20 + a × 4

➟ a = 20 / 4

➟ a = 5 m/sec²

We need to find distance.

By using second equation of motion.

s = ut + 1/2 at²

In which, t = time

u = initial velocity

a = acceleration

S = displacement or distance

➟ s = (20 × 4) - 1/2 × 5 (4)²

➟ s = 80 - 1/2 × 5 × 16

➟ s = 80 - 5 × 8

➟ s = 80 - 40

s = 40 m

❝ Hence , Car move 40 m far.❞
