A car is moving in a straight line with speed 18 k /h. It is stopped in 5 s by applying brakes. Find:
(i)the speed of the car in m/s,
(ii) the retardation and
(iii) the speed of car after 2 s of applying the brakes.​

speed =18* 5/18

= 5 m/s

retardation v= u+at

= 0= 5+a*5

a= -1m/ s square

speed after 2s

v= u+at

= 5+(-1)2

= 3 m/s
