Let, Distance to cover is D
so time taken to cover D/3 is D/3 ÷ 20 = D/60
remaining distance = 2D/3
Time taken to cover 2D/3 ÷ 60 = 2D/180 = D/90
total time taken = D/60 + D/90 = 5D/180
Avg speed = D ÷ 5D/180 = 180/5 =36
so time taken to cover D/3 is D/3 ÷ 20 = D/60
remaining distance = 2D/3
Time taken to cover 2D/3 ÷ 60 = 2D/180 = D/90
total time taken = D/60 + D/90 = 5D/180
Avg speed = D ÷ 5D/180 = 180/5 =36
