Answer:-

  • Speed on completing 1/4 of road=36m/s
  • speed on completing 3/4of road=54m/s

The road is divided into 4parts hence total time taken will be 4.

We know that

\boxed{\sf Average\:Speed=\dfrac{Total\:Distance\:Covered}{Total\:Time}}

\\ \qquad\quad\sf\Rrightarrow Average\:speed=\dfrac{36+3(54)}{4}

\\ \qquad\quad\sf\Rrightarrow Average\:Speed=\dfrac{36+162}{4}

\\ \qquad\quad\sf\Rrightarrow Average\:Speed=\dfrac{198}{4}

\\ \qquad\quad\sf\Rrightarrow Average\:Speed=14.5m/s

Answer:

14.5 metre

Explanation:

speed of completing 2/4 of road= 36 metre/s

speed on completing 3/4 of road= 54 metre/s

everage speed 36+3( 54)

--------------

4

= 36 + 162

-------------

4

= 198

-------

4

Ans- 14.5
